Christian Borgnaes
"Global Racing has helped several athletes to become world-class skiers in recent years. I am very excited to be part of this team now and get my own chance to make not a step, but a leap in my ski racing."
Born: 3/19/1996
Nationality: Austrian
Hometown: St. Anton am Arlberg
Background: Christian had his first skis on his feet at the age of two and with both his parents being ski enthusiasts, it did not take long and he too fell in love with the sport. The following years he and his mom spent over 100 days a year on and off-piste in the Arlberg region. After starting to race regularly at the age of 9, he eventually went to the Skigymnasium Stams at age 14, where graduated in 2015. Following four years on the Austrian National Team, accompanied by two severe knee injuries, Christian was let go in 2018 and is now fully committed to and a proud member of Global Racing Ski Team.
